Moniquea Marion is a Toronto based actor, writer, and comedian. She's written, produced and performed solo comedy shows for the Toronto Fringe Festival, The Edmonton Fringe Festival, the Toronto Sketch Festival, and the Montreal Sketch Festival.

 

Marion is the creator and star of three successful web series', Food Porn, Moniquea Marion 365, and Fuel Up. Marion was a 2019 BANFF Netflix-Diversity of Voices selected participant, a selected participant for the 2019 Reelworld Emerging 20 Program, and a 2018 selected participant for the Women On Screen Incubator.

Marion is an award winning filmmaker for her co-production of the all female short comedy, Mom Jail, and a Toronto Arts Council recipient for Endless Procession, a female driven short drama shot in Ireland.

 

In 2014 & 2015 Marion was a nominee for Best Female Improviser by NOW Magazine. She was also a contender for Second City's Next Comedy Legend and a 2010 CBC Laugh Out Loud winner.

 

Marion is a graduate of the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in NYC and the Second City Conservatory in Toronto.
